Aren't they darling? We have been watching this momma duck sitting on her eggs for the past several weeks. We kept wondering when on earth they were going to be here. Last night was the first time we actually saw them. 10 baby ducklings. They are so fuzzy already. I could just sit and watch them forever. The one at the bottom tumbled down the slope into the water just before I took this picture. It's amazing how they get around so quickly already.

Just in time for Easter
Aren't they darling? We have been watching this momma duck sitting on her eggs for the past several weeks. We kept wondering when on earth they were going to be here. Last night was the first time we actually saw them. 10 baby ducklings. They are so fuzzy already. I could just sit and watch them forever. What a perfect little Easter miracle!! That reminds me of when I lived at Old Farm -- we used to have dozens of cute ducks that hung out around our apartment that we would feed bread to.
I had a pet duck when i was a kid, i bought it at a garage sale for a dollar when it was a baby. I used to put it on a leash and take it for walks, (it really didn't like this much), and it used to peck at our dog. It is my favorite childhood pet. These cute little ones bring back the memories... Happy Easter.
