I've got a PERMA GRIN!

Well here is the proof! (We pretended to sign the contract here after we actually did it. The seller stepped out of the room for a second, then we became sort of silly with excitement.) But we really did it! We signed our lives away today. We will be poor again here soon... OH WELL! We bought our first house and I am in love with it. It has everything I have been looking for plus a few extra square feet.
Here is a pic of the model home kitchen. I love the fall colors they used through the entire home. I also love the corner pantry- finally a place for my Costco purchases besides my linen closed in my second bathroom...
Here is a pic of what we actually have so far. The last corner/cul-de-sac lot available. There is a half basketball court and a "tot lot" right around the corner. Also close by our home will be the new Gilbert temple. I am not sure when it is going to be built, but soon. We are also surrounded by several communities of multi-million dollar homes. Sweet! These things will keep the area looking nice I suspect.
This next picture is basically what our home is going to look like. These are the colors we chose for the exterior. We will make an appointment with the design center on Monday to choose all our interior features. We are going to go basic with the flooring and Jeff is going to install some really sweet tile designs once we close. His friend from work has all the equipment and it will be much cheaper.
The colors are a little different, but this is what we should have in October! Our first home! YAY! Now I need to post a booking schedule for visitors to come stay with us. We will have plenty of room. Better sign up quick before will fill all the space with little snot-nosed cuties!
Thanks again uncle Mark, if you ever look at this, I appreciated your home buying tips!

Wow! That sounds like a dream. Congrats on finding something. It looks like it'll be an awsome house. Do you have any idea when it will be completed and ready to move in?

SO freakin' jealous.

But I AM happy for you guys! :) That's awesome. And it's a smart investment to build near a temple.
