Of course when I actually get a chance to do something fun and enjoyable, I forget my camera. What a great time we had joining Sanket and Rupa in the celebration of their marriage. Jeff went to grad school with Sanket. They were married in India this past November, and have returned to Arizona where they held the most amazing reception last night. They had coctails and appetizers in the garden of a brand new multi-billion dollar resort in Scottsdale followed by dinner, toasting, cake cutting, and dancing. The decor was beautiful and the food was great. I am never disappointed when it comes to Indian bread and I can't remember the name of my favorite dish, chicken something... it has a burnt orange colored sauce. Yum. The dancing was so fun! A couple Indian women in their beautiful dress, took me by the arm to teach me a few traditional dances. Although, most of the music was from India, I took advantage of the chance I had to teach them a little something when I heard the first few seconds of the Macarena!!! Jeff and I were given a few knods and a little cheering from some of the white folk when we showed them what dancing to Stayin Alive is all about. We also had a chance to shine when we were pushed into the circle during the YMCA!
Not sure we kept our Sabbath very holy this week, but we did attend all of our meetings and it was an incredible experience!

I am glad you posted again. I love Indian food. Our friends that live upstairs from us are from India. She brings us food occasionally, and it is so good. Sounds like the wedding was a blast.
