So the picture order is a little funky. I swear they are loading out of order these days.

We are so glad to pretty much have this part of the home projects out of the way. Just a few touch ups here and there. We DID end up hiring a painter who gave us a good deal since he traded some of the work for our carpet. I am telling you that 3 days for the whole house is so worth it to me. I started to paint once. It took me hours to tape off just the kitchen and two days later I was only halfway done and I hated the color.
I got smart and started using paint samples (eye roll from Jeff inserted here). I had 2x2 squares on almost every wall in the house for weeks. I walked from room to room at various times of the day to check them out. Well, the work paid off and I am happy with the results. Jeff had a comment or two of this nature... "green, I don't like green", but he couldn't pick one color out of an entire fan deck that he liked. I ended up giving him a deadline. I asked him to either pick one he liked that I could go off of, or to pretty much put a smile on his face and act thrilled with the results. Here's what we ended up with. Keep in mind we are still under construction...

I love your hardwood floors. They are gorgeous. I'm with you on hiring the painter. They can do it fast AND it looks great.
I love the colors. Especially the office. Keep sharing, please! Your home is darling...
It looks great Di! That green color is very similar to the color in my house!

Love you!
Oh I love the results!!! I especially love that green color you chose. It looks great with your furniture in the bedroom. Can I come over and see it in person? We need to get together!

I love it Di. It all turned out great, I hope you are happy with it.
It all looks great. Picking paints are quite the process. It's fun to have some color on the walls instead of boring white!
