My last day came and went. Of course there had to be a nasty trach, bed alarms left and right and lots of poop otherwise it wouldn't have been a proper goodbye... There are a lot of fun co-workers I will miss, and a few funny doctors too! I am amazed at the things I have learned in only one year of nursing. I never thought I would experience as much as I have so far in my career.
A friend of mine took me to lunch the other day and another good bunch bought me some flowers. Thanks guys! And a special thanks to Kami for helping me with the stinky mess on my last shift :)
