What's for dinner?

I have grown to absolutely hate that question. Don't ask cause I haven't got a clue. When it's time for dinner, I would much rather grab the tortilla chips out of the cupboard and kick it on the couch.
I was assigned to have dinner ready by the time Jeff got home from the Priesthood session the other night. The only help he would give me on an idea is that he wanted something with meat in it. Hmmmm... so here was my attempt.
Then I beefed it up with some stuff.
After all my hard work, I hid the evidence then told Jeff I had slaved over a hot stove the entire time he was gone.

After December, I now solemnly swear, I will cook well rounded meals like I once did when we were first married.

Jeff now wants me to give him credit for the past two meals he has made. Meal #1: 5 spice salmon crusted steaks with rice & Meal #2: Fillet Mignon, German potato salad (I call these stinky potatoes) and green beans (I opened the cans!).

Lucky Me!

I welcome any meal ideas from those awesome chefs who stalk my blog!
