The Quiet Christmas

What a different Christmas morning we had. I have never slept in or opened presents so late. We made a scrumptious brunch before opening our three little packages. Jeff was sad he couldn't participate in the donkey races this year and it sounds like we missed out on some great food and company. Maybe next year...
This is our new kitchen table and chairs we got each other for Christmas. My parents also contributed. Thanks again Mom and Dad. We love it.
Here are some pictures of our yummy meal. French Chocolate, a Christmas morning tradition in my family and a chicken broccoli croissant I have never tried before. I got the recipe from Terri, the YW President I served with before our move. Isn't it pretty?

From the Irvings, Jeff got a Home Depot gift card. He has a large wish list of manly tools. A compressor, nail gun and table saw are towards the top. I received a beautiful mammoth ivory necklace from Alaska. Thanks Irvings!

Congratulations graduates!!! That is so awesome that you both graduated together. Reid and I did the same thing. I am so happy that you are both done...what a great thing that is. Your table is beautiful and your christmas breakfast looked great. I am so glad your family got to come. We also got to go visit my family. We wanted to call you and see you but I have lost your phone number, we will be back to visit the first of March and would love to see you and your beautiful house. Would you mind emailing me your number so that won't happen again?!

Congrats on graduating!! I am sure it is wonderful to finally be done! We had our first Christmas on our own this year too, it was wierd to have it so quiet. It was nice though to be able to establish our own traditions. That croissant looks delicious, will you send me the recipe. (idazona3@yahoo.com) That would be awesome.
