Happy Valentine's Day!

I don't get too excited about Valentine's Day anymore. It was a lot more fun in High School when the front office was full to the brim with flowers and chocolates! They would take time to announce over the loud speaker those students who needed to come to the office to pick something up. Seems like everyone would cross their fingers hoping they would get something. Oh, the butterflies when your name was called...

Jeff did some very cute things for me when we were dating. Of course I ask him what happened to all the cute stuff and dates after we got married, but it is fun to remember the old times... He made a love CD that he had waiting for me on my bed when I got home from school. It was in a CD player and I just had to push play. He put a florescent parking ticket envelope on my car one day (I was furious! My parking pass was visible!!!) and when I opened it, I was cited for being "Too Attractive!" The ticket also told me to stop or suffer the consequences. He bought some little puzzle pieces with letters on them that said he had been puzzled, but now he found his missing piece. Before I went to Chile (we were engaged the day I got back) he made me a necklace out of bead letters that told me he loved me and wanted to be with me till eternity in Spanish. He wrote me a song and several poems, stuffed little notes under my car door handle all the time, made me a coupon book, and one morning when I left my apartment to go to work at 5 am, he was sitting on the steps to walk me to my car.

Here are a few pictures from when we were dating:

What a stud!

I took this one to Chile with me and kept it on my nightstand and in my bag I carried around. It is the desktop pic on my computer right now.

Jeff needed a mug shot for something. I was in this pic with him but cut myself out of it. I keep this little one in my planner.
I LOVE YOU JEFF!

I tell ya what those men do some sweet stuff when your dating, however its probably a good thing so they can make up all the time they dont when your married. Your blog is always so cute!!! Take care. Leslie

you obviously had more boys swooning after you then i did, i've never really been a fan of valentines day- its better now than i am married and can tell someone exactly what i want and what i think is romantic. Like you my hubby used to do cute random things, now he has to be told.

Di,
i remember back in the day when they did have the energy to be romantic and so sweet... What happened.... No i agree, valentines isn't what it used to be. Blake took me to walmart and bought me so glasses (cups) because during the move he broke mine. Happy valentines day to me. He tells me that he doesn't need a holiday to show me how much he loves me he does it every day. BOYS
