So Jeff returns home at the usual 6pm to find this... my car making out with the neighbors car. I didn't even know they were dating. I've never even met his parents (my car is the girl!).
Anyway, apparently some dad let his 15 year-old birthday girl drive. She was going about 15mph too fast in the parking lot, came around the corner, tried to get around a car coming in the other direction and instead of hitting the break she hit the gas pedal. She ended up hitting the other back end of this red car that slammed into my car. Oh well, the damage has been done and the car will get fixed. I was trying to finish a bunch of homework that night and Jeff was starving when he got home. We had to exchange info with the 15 year-old and the cops in the freezing rain (that's right, we don't have snow here). Because the wreck was on private property the lucky little devil doesn't get ticketed. I guess if this would have happened on the street, she would not be able to get her license till age 21! Lucky enough for us however, the Po Po wrote a report.
So today I am driving this little Kia something or other. It is a new 2008, but I like my Civic. I am one of those people who drive with their seat at a 90 degree angle and clear up to the stearing wheel. When I got in to drive away, I could not get my seat to sit up straight. I had to go in and ask for help, yeah I know, how embarassing. Do you think Progressive trusts me with their rental after that???

That stinks about your car. I hope that it gets fixed soon so that you can drive cute little car soon. Goodd luck and tell Jeff hi for us.
The "I didn't even know they were dating" story sounds very familiar! Sorry about the car, hope you can get it fixed soon. Keep us updated.
Di- If i didn't know any better I would think that girl got her license in Utah, all those crazy utah drivers ya know. In Idaho we NEVER have that problem. LOL .
Diana- we may actually work for the same company... The company I work for is a nationwide company and is really crappy. UHS? Anyway, a comment about your chameleon post, people here have weird ideas about mormons too but are usually respectful, moreso than in Utah actually. The other day I overheard a bunch of nurses talking about how mormons "control the city." Las Vegas? I said are you kidding me? No way! Gaming (gambling) controls this city! They all got uncomfortable and quit talking but come to find out mormons actually manage a whole lot of casinos. Great. Plus every other doctor, dentist, attorney, teacher, and charge nurse is a mormon. Who knew? Maybe they're right!
That sucks about your cute little car, at least it wasn't your fault!
I HATE it when my car gets dinged up by somebody other than myself! (We won't talk about what I've done). With scrapbooking, right now I'm kind of in between. I do everything on the computer, then print out the page and stick pictures on it. It's pretty quick since I'm impatient, but I would love to go totally digital.
Di, i showed blake your latest post and he couldn't believe it. He said i would be so ticked. I guess it is true that bad things happen to good people. That is crappy. when do you get your car back???
Blake also said that he would kill his kid too.
